Ambrogio Novelli

He graduated in 1986 with a degree in Economics and Commerce from the University of Genoa and in 1991 also obtained a Law degree from the University of Genoa.

His professional experience began in 1987 at Ghiglione and Ghio law firm where he worked until 1992. During these years, he dealt with national and international tax consultancy, specifically focusing on corporate taxation, corporate reorganization operations, and international tax planning.

In 1992, he started his collaboration with the Baker & McKenzie law firm in Milan, where he worked until 1994.

In 1993, he was sent to the People’s Republic of Angola by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Directorate-General for Development Cooperation) as a legal consultant for commercial law issues with the task of studying Angolan legislation, its interpretative and applicative practices, and assisting the Italian Embassy in drafting and negotiating bilateral contracts and agreements.

He was one of the founding partners of the Mazzeschi, Novelli & Porcari law firm in 1995 and since 1996 has founded the current Law Firm. He has been registered in the register of Chartered Accountants since 1989, in the register of Auditors since 1989, and in the register of Lawyers since 1994.

Andrea Pittaluga

He obtained his Law degree on October 19, 2007, from the University of Genoa, discussing the Labor Law thesis “Work Safety on Ships and in Ports,” with Professor Clara Enrico as his advisor.
He began his professional career at Novelli Law Firm in November 2007.
Initially, he dealt with issues related to Civil Law and Labor Law, tackling the related legal issues and providing extrajudicial opinions, drafting documents, etc.
Subsequently, he expanded his training to include corporate and contractual law.
He continues to collaborate with Novelli Law Firm, where he is involved in consultancy and legal assistance in Civil Law (with a particular focus on contractual law, debt recovery, corporate law, and road accidents).

Alessio Biffi

Born in Genoa on January 5, 1988, he graduated with a Master’s degree in Law from the University of Genoa in 2011, presenting a thesis in Criminal Law titled “The Admissibility of Subsequent Corruption in Judicial Acts,” supervised by Prof. Paolo Pisa. Later, in March 2012, he earned a Master’s in Journalism and Broadcast Journalism at the Eidos Communication Institute in Rome. In 2011, he also obtained the IELTS (International English Language Testing System) certificate. After an initial period of practice at a law firm in Genoa, where he exclusively focused on criminal law, he has been collaborating with Novelli Law Firm since October 2012. In October 2014, he obtained his legal practicing certificate. He primarily deals with Civil Law, both in judicial and extrajudicial matters, corporate law, and tax law. Alberto Spinelli

Born in Genoa in 1975, he earned his Law degree in 2005 from the University of Genoa, discussing a thesis in Finance and Tax Law: “The income statement: legal nature, effects, and its correctability,” supervised by the esteemed Prof. Avv. Giovanni Marongiu with a grade of 110/110. From 2005 to 2007, he worked at the Cassottana Law Firm in Genoa, conducting research, providing extrajudicial advice, and assisting in hearings, particularly in private law, focusing on contractual, commercial, and corporate law, and serving as a delegate for Adusbef in Liguria, in disputes between consumers and financial intermediaries in the field of financial market law.

Subsequently, from 2007 to September 2011, he worked at the Righetti Law Firm in Genoa and Milan, not only conducting research and providing extrajudicial advice in private law but also providing extrajudicial advice and judicial assistance in disputes concerning maritime law, including international issues.

Becoming a mediator in 2011, from 2011 to 2013, he worked at the Rosso & Tirelli Law Firm in Genoa, providing extrajudicial advice and judicial assistance in navigation and transport law, private law, especially in private and public contractual civil litigation, medical malpractice and related insurance profiles, debt recovery, and enforcement procedures.

Since November 2007, he has also been assisting in the Private Law II Chair at the Faculty of Law of the University of Genoa, under the guidance of Prof. Donato Carusi and Prof. Alessandra Pinori, participating in teaching and coordination activities.

From 2007 to the present, he has collaborated, under the supervision of Prof. Avv. Francesco Berlingieri, with the magazine “Il Diritto Marittimo,” writing comments and notes on case law in the field of navigation and transportation law. Since March 2007, he has also worked with the publisher Ipsoa as an author of case notes on civil liability and cases of procedural international private law and navigation.

Federica Bianchi

After graduating in Law (110/110) in 2010 from the University of Genoa, with a period abroad (France) as part of the Erasmus program, she completed her legal internship at an established civil and commercial law firm in Genoa. Having obtained her law license in 2014, she worked at a non-governmental organization in Bogotá (Colombia), and in 2015, she undertook a professional internship at the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, located in San José (Costa Rica). After her time abroad, from January 2016 to 2018, she worked as an Associate at an international law firm in Milan, and meanwhile, she earned a Master’s degree in “Global Rule of Law & Constitutional Democracy” from the Tarello Institute for the Philosophy of Law at the University of Genoa. Since March 2018, she has been collaborating with Novelli Law Firm, where she primarily deals with Civil and commercial law, both in litigation and non-litigation matters, as well as personal rights. Carolina Siccardi

Born in Savona on June 20, 1968, she graduated with full marks in law from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan in 1993. She has been registered in the Bar Association since 2000. She attended a postgraduate course in European Union law in Luxembourg as well as a course in maritime and international law at Columbia University in New York, USA. Following a period of general practice, she gained several years of experience in the shipping sector and maritime law in Genoa. In addition to significant experience in maritime law, she primarily deals with commercial law, transport law, and civil litigation. Languages: Italian, English, and Spanish.

Enrico Macera

Formerly a Brigade Commander in the Italian Finance Police, he specializes in civil, fiscal, and tax law, in which he has gained considerable experience throughout his career. This experience includes collaboration with the Ministry of Economy and Finance to develop an electronic control system for insurance fraud in the car and motorcycle sectors.
He graduated in Law from the University of Pavia with a focus on business law and has been a practicing lawyer since 2012.
He then decided to fully dedicate himself to the legal profession, continuing his studies at the Law Faculty of the University of Milan, where he attended postgraduate courses for “Tax Judges and professionals qualified to represent clients before the tax judiciary,” in “Corporate Law,” and in “Litigation before the European Courts.”
